The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is soliciting Letters of Interest from parties interested in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) package for this Design-Build Project
Pre-Bid Conference: The deadline for receipt of Letters of Interest is August 25, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon). All parties must send a Letter of Interest to MassDOTBIDDocuments@dot.state.ma.us
The scope of work includes final design and construction of roadway and bridge superstructures along Interstate 90 and a bridge over Interstate 90 in Palmer, Massachusetts. The project consists of replacement of four (4) bridge superstructures on I-90 (Eastbound and Westbound over Thorndike Street and Boston Road) and bridge replacement of Flynt Street over I-90. Work also includes roadway reconstruction, milling and overlay, highway drainage/storm water management facilities, traffic management with temporary crossovers and detours, utility relocation/protection, hazardous materials assessment & remediation, and all other related bridge and highway work.
