Pre-Bid Conference: A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on October 2, 2026 at 10:00am at the Mackay Library 43 Newfield St, North Chelmsford, MA 01863. Attendees are to meet at the front of the building. Attendance is strongly recommended.
Remove the existing ramp completely down to the footings for reuse with new footing locations, install new framing with new composite decking and aluminum railings, remove the existing canopy and build a new canopy wood structure tied into the EPDM roof system above, and complete associated repairs including installing new gutters with downspouts, removal and replacement of the entry door with a new ADA compliant door and door opener, framing in and covering A/C in the wall, installing new lighting for the canopy area, and removal and replacement of deteriorated wood siding, with a written two-year guarantee covering defects in workmanship and materials.
