Agency With Choice (AWC) is a model of self-directed service delivery which requires Providers to share employment responsibilities with self-directed program participants (participants) and families. The AWC Provider serves as the employer of record for the employee hired to provide services to the participant, and the participant/family serves as the day-to-day managing employer.
