The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF) is seeking proposals from municipalities for projects that will sustain or improve migratory passageways for diadromous fish in Massachusetts. Diadromous (sea-run) fish enter coastal rivers each spring on spawning or foraging migrations. DMF routinely partners with municipalities to restore former migratory routes, maintain existing fishways, improve related infrastructure, and conduct stream maintenance.
