Sealed bids are invited for the Carlisle Public School Classroom Flooring Project, in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149. Pre-Bid Conference: Carlisle Public School, 83 School Street, Carlisle - August 13, 2026 at 9am
The project includes removing existing carpet and/or tile and glue from the floor area, removing existing cove base without damaging the wallboard (any damage to be repaired and finished by the contractor), installing new VCT tile (color picked by Facilities Director based on samples provided by contractor), installing new cove base with similar color to existing, and any floor leveling after removal of old flooring material. All old removed materials are to be taken by the contractor. The job must be completed during school break times (winter break, spring break, etc.). All furniture will be removed and returned to and from the classrooms by school facilities staff. The work is to be performed in the Robbins Building (rooms R-129, R-130, R-132, R-133, R-135, R-229, R-230, R-232, R-233; total 7,313 sq ft) and the Grant Building (rooms G-202, G-204, G-210; total 2,899 sq ft).
