Pre-Bid Conference: Pre-bid conference followed by a site visit will be held on July 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Lonergan Intake Facility (Shaft 8) in Barre, MA. Attendees must contact Caitlin.carbonello@mwra.com before 12:00 PM on June 30, 2026, to register.
The work includes conducting all necessary site preparation and execution of interior and exterior work. Interior work includes replacement of the existing suspended walkways, installation of two new segments of suspended walkway, replacement of an existing fixed ladder and replacement of existing embedded stop log frame and cover assemblies within the Well Room in the Intake Building. Exterior modifications include replacement of the existing retaining wall between the Intake and Service Buildings, replacement of the existing sampling platform stairway and modifications to the existing guardrail adjacent to the Intake Building.
