This project consists of all work associated with the lump sum and unit price bid of the construction of a closed-conduit storm drain system; the associated earthwork to shape a receiving channel for flow conveyed by that system; and the asphalt re-paving of approximately 44 linear feet of a portion of S. Cimmaron Trail. The storm drain system will consist of 170 linear feet of RCP; two (2) cast-in-place wye inlets; and one pair of wingwalls at the storm drain outfall. At this outfall, a triangular drainage channel with 3.5:1 side-slopes and a top width of 20 feet shall be graded and sodded. Finally, as previously mentioned, a portion of S. Cimmaron Trail will be re-paved with a 9”-thick crushed aggregate base and 3” HMAC surface course because the road profile has been altered as the low-water crossing that exists in the pre-construction condition will be replaced by the proposed storm drain system. Other items include demolition; traffic control; grading to drain; and sodding of other disturbed areas. Project shall include all necessary labor, materials, and testing in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Most Texas work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
