The project includes rehabilitation and capacity improvements to the Jim Walters and Port O’ Call South Lift Stations to provide duplex pumping capability and improve reliability. Work generally includes wet well cleaning, concrete repairs and coatings, installation of a second submersible pump with guide rails, replacement of discharge piping, and new check and isolation valves at both stations. Site improvements include access road repairs, fencing, and lift station identification signage. Electrical work includes new duplex pump control panels and local audible and visual alarms associated with the added pumps. Both lift stations include a manual transfer switch and portable generator quick-connection facility. Electrical work also includes new duplex control equipment, local audible/visual alarm, utility service modifications, site lighting, and reconnection of existing radio/telemetry interfaces as shown.
