PORTABLE TOILET BUILDING RENTAL AND SERVICE
THIS IS AN ONLINE BID ONLY. ALL BID DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA VSS.
The contractor must furnish and rent portable toilet buildings, keeping them in a clean, usable condition. Units must be serviced at least once per week, or as required depending on usage, and must meet all local or state health regulations. Service includes emptying the holding tank, refilling with fresh water and deodorant, washing the units inside and out, wiping dry, replenishing tissue supply, and cleaning up around the unit. Units must be delivered within 1-3 days of request and picked up at the end of season within 3 days of notice. Units must be chained and locked to a pole or fence to prevent tip over. Cleaning schedules are specified: twice-weekly sites must be cleaned on Fridays and Tuesdays, and once-per-week sites must be cleaned on Fridays. The contractor must document on-site the dates and times of service. Stolen or destroyed units must be replaced at the bid price.

Most Ohio work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
