The work involves installing single-mode fiber optic cable within the project limits on Yorkmont Road between north of West Boulevard and Beam Road, and Beam Road between Yorkmont Road and Shopton Road. Installation methods include directional boring, hand digging, trenching, existing conduit, and aerial attachments to wood utility poles. The project also includes Ethernet equipment for existing traffic signal communications, installation of traffic management cameras and metal poles, and fiber optic cable splicing and testing.
