The project will install single-mode fiber optic cable within the project limits via directionally bored, hand dug or trenched conduit, existing conduit, and aerial attachments to wood utility poles. It includes Ethernet equipment for existing traffic signal communications, installation of traffic management cameras and metal poles, fiber optic cable splicing and testing, and all work for new traffic signals at the intersections of Shopton Road West with Rock Island Road and with Westinghouse Boulevard.
