Bonding Requirements
The City plans to require the following bond(s) for this solicitation: Bid Bond-City required Bond to ensure that vendors do not retract bids from the time they submit a bit until the contract has been executed. Payment Bond-City required Bond to ensure that subcontractors and/or suppliers are paid for any work performed. Performance Bond-City required Bond to ensure satisfactory completion of a project by the vendor.

The project will increase capacity along Rea Road by utilizing right turn lane drops and median to develop an additional NB and SB through lane between I-485 ramps and Williams Pond Lane. It also includes increased turn lane capacity and intersection improvements at Piper Station Drive and Ballantyne Commons Parkway, pedestrian safety improvements with sidewalks on both sides of Rea Road, and other specific improvements including curb and gutter, accessible ramps, and driveways.
