The project involves demolition and disposal of the existing Primary Clarifier No. 5 (PC No. 5) mechanism and associated components, followed by installation of a new Owner-procured clarifier mechanism. Additional work at PC No. 5 includes structural repairs, replacement of exposed piping and valves, modifications to existing chemical feed dosing points, and upgrades to slide and sluice gate components. At the Influent Pump Station (IPS), the project involves replacing existing grit piping and stainless steel air piping, and replacement of slide gate seals, actuators, and stems.
