Pontiac Correctional Center intends to procure industrial type washing machines and dryer for use in the facility's Laundry Department. This will be a one-time bid for purchase and installation of the machines, first as a Small Business Set Aside Procurement. This willl be part of an RM project for FY27.
Pontiac Correctional Center will not be using JPMC Contract P-39940 since it is for the lease of washers and dryers and we are procuring to purchase two washers and one dryer.
Vendor shall provide and install one (1) Commercial 130lb 200G mid-performance steam driven commercial washing machine extractor, 480V, 9 speeds, with 72.6"x46.1" 3/4in steam connection; one (1) Commercial 65lb 200G mid-performance steam driven commercial washing machine extractor, 480V, with 64.7" x 34.1" 1/2in steam connection; and one (1) 170lb Premium commercial steam driven tumbler dryer, 480V, 265,500 BTU/hour, 52.9" x 94". Vendor will complete installation, return the facility structure to prior condition or better, verify all equipment is working properly, and remove all construction debris and installation materials off site. Installation shall include adaptation of facility building structures to accommodate installation as needed.
