The consultant will evaluate existing filtration and recarbonation systems including underdrains, media support, backwash processes including air scour alternatives and automation, valves, piping, actuators, filter-to-waste, drainage, backwash pumps, recarbonation upgrades and sedimentation basin effluent meters, then prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report with alternatives evaluation and Class 3 cost opinion, complete detailed design and biddable contract documents with permits and cost opinions, provide bid phase addenda and clarifications, provide construction phase meetings, site visits, pay estimate review, submittal and RFI review, change review, punch list and substantial completion support plus configuration and programming, prepare record drawings and closeout and warranty support, and implement QA/QC with SOP, O&M manual and control narrative updates.
