The Alaska Court System is seeking bids for a new janitorial contract for the Palmer Courthouse located at 435 S. Denali Street, Palmer, AK 99645. This is a two (2) year contract with four (4), two (2) year options to renew. The new contract will commence November 1, 2026.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Please meet in the lobby of the Palmer Courthouse.
Bids are due on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM.
**Please note that this is a two-phase, multi-step sealed bid process. Unpriced technical offers and priced bids must be submitted in separate sealed packages. Priced bids are to be submitted at the same time as technical offers. Priced bids will be considered only in the second phase and only from those bidders whose unpriced technical offers are found acceptable in the first phase. **
The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies for janitorial services at the Palmer Courthouse, including daily cleaning (e.g., trash removal, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning), weekly services (e.g., dusting, spray buffing, carpet vacuuming), monthly services (e.g., deep scrubbing, carpet extraction, cleaning vents), semi-annual services (e.g., stripping and waxing floors, shampooing carpets), annual services (e.g., deep scrubbing and sealing concrete, washing windows), and additional services as requested. The contractor must also supply consumables such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and sanitizer.
