This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1236 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to install environmental controls, an automated drip irrigation system, install of new cooling system, and install of bug exclusion system for 2 Jaderloon Classic Gutter Greenhouses.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 221310 Water Supply and Irrigation Systems The small business size standard is $41M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
A mandatory site visit is required to submit a technically acceptable quotation.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install a turnkey greenhouse environmental control and drip irrigation system. Work includes: installing a Dual Zone Seed Controller from Wadsworth Controls to control climate and drip irrigation in two polyhouses; installing a 10-zone automated drip irrigation system with moisture sensors and a Superdos 30 fertilizer injector in each polyhouse; installing a new Konfort Kool wet wall system (58' x 2' x 6") in each polyhouse; and installing a new Bug Exclusion room (60' x 8' x 4') in each polyhouse. The contractor must also provide pre-construction submittals (material submittals, accident prevention plan, CPM schedule, quality control plan, environmental protection plan), comply with all applicable codes, and complete the work within 75 days of the Construction Notice to Proceed.
