Solicitation number 140PP027Q0008 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competed bulk potable water hauling services supporting the North Rim infrastructure at Grand Canyon National Park (GRCA).
The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, vehicles, equipment, materials, chlorine, fuel, and incidentals required to source, haul, chlorinate, test, and deliver bulk water to the North Rim water storage tanks at Grand Canyon National Park under a firm-fixed-price award. The Contractor shall deliver 662,000 gallons of water (CLIN 00010) to the unloading point at the storage tanks by the base completion date. The Government may exercise an option for an additional 338,000 gallons for the North Rim (CLIN 00020). The water will be used to complete the restoration of the park's North Rim water and wastewater systems — to jet sanitary sewer lines, start-up and commission the Temporary Wastewater Treatment Plant, and to pressurize, flush, and disinfect the water distribution system — while the North Rim's own water supply is out of service after the 29 August 2026 flood.
