Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1178 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for replacement of mini split HVAC units for the USDA ARS in Tallahassee, FL.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238220 The small business size standard is $19.0M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The magnitude of construction is less than $75,000.

The contractor must provide all parts, labor, materials, equipment and services to install two new mini split HVAC units in Trailer 2 and two new mini split units in Trailer 3, including electrical power installation, system startup and testing. Existing HVAC systems must be decommissioned, including refrigerant removal and disconnection from electrical supply. The work includes four outdoor 3-ton units with a 2-ton and ½-ton indoor unit for each, and must comply with OSHA, NFPA, NEC safety standards, HVAC industry best practices, and local building/electrical codes. The contractor is responsible for coordinating work to minimize disruption to facility operations.
