Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the Visa patio roofing replacement. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form that follows this letter.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Question will be received before August 6, 2026 at 4:00 Pm to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov. Quotations are due by August 12, 2024 at 16:00 hours. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
The contractor shall perform a full-scale renovation of the Visa Patio roof canopy at the U.S. Embassy Bogotá. Work includes: controlled removal and disposal of existing deteriorated polycarbonate roof panels; structural assessment and re-certification of existing anchoring points; surface preparation and application of anti-corrosive coating to steel structure; supply and installation of new 50mm UVPVC sandwich panel roofing; replacement of 38 existing light fixtures and installation of 18 new lamps; installation of 8 new electrical outlets with a new distribution system; cleaning of the existing audio system; and final site restoration. All work must comply with local (RETIE/NTC 2050) and international (NEC/ADA) standards, and OBO standards. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The contract duration is 120 calendar days after notice to proceed.
