THIS INTENDS TO BE A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH DMG MORI FEDERAL SERVICES. ALL RESPONSIBLE PROPOSALS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
This solicitation is for the procurement of one (1) Mill Turn Machine and an option for one (1) Mill Turn Machine in support of the Watervliet Arsenal Cannon Manufacturing Process. This machine base must be configured and installed in accordance with the Watervliet Arsenal Manufacturing Engineering Work Group Specification #01-26-3416 dated 29 Jan 2026 (Attachment 0001).
The contractor shall furnish and deliver a new CNC Milling Turning Machine, heavy duty type, fitted with 2 spindles, slant bed with one piece base, CNC controlled 5-axis (X, Z, Y, C, and B) Millturn, complete with 2 self-centering c-rests, coolant system, automatic chip removal system, automatic tool changer, and other specified features. The preferred machine is an NT6600DCG/6000. The contract includes one base machine and an option for a second. The contractor is responsible for all costs and work associated with installation, including skidding, shipment, rigging, and installation at Watervliet Arsenal. The contractor must also provide training, technical data, and certifications as detailed in the specification and Contract Data Requirements List.
