This project will replace a section of the Blanchard Springs Recreation Area sewer collection system providing for full functionality, eliminating deferred maintenance and improving resiliency to extreme weather and flood events. Pressure sewer lines will be directionally drilled under North Sylamore Creek to prevent freezing and damage from floating debris. Gravity lines will be replaced
or lined. Option items include rehabilitation of two pressure lift stations.

Option items include rehabilitation of two pressure lift stations. Specific tasks include mobilization, site work, erosion control, removal of existing pipes, installation of new HDPE force main piping via directional boring and open cut, removal and installation of manholes, and installation of PVC gravity sewer piping. The contractor must also provide safety manuals, drilling plans, erosion control and spill prevention plans, and test all piping.
