Notice Of Intent To Solicit Only One Source For 225 Square Freestanding Bloks, 75 Floor/Grounding and 75 Corner Assemblies.
The contractor shall provide a modular, scalable, and reconfigurable ballistic protection system including 225 16-inch square freestanding bloks compliant with UL 752 Edition 12, 75 floor/ground mounting assemblies, and 75 corner assemblies. The system must be capable of being assembled by one person using only a screwdriver, be reconfigurable, and be portable. The bloks must be a three-layer system (steel strike plate, ballistic fiberglass core, steel back plate) with total thickness less than 1 inch, and the steel must comply with MIL-DTL-46100. Delivery is to 6375 Johnosn Rd Bldg. 321, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.
