This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Granite Paver Maintenance and Repair requirement as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Please see attached combined synopsis/solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW), Wage Determination, NIST Guidelines for Contractors and A/E Firms, Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Provisions and Clauses, and Granite Paver Unit Pricing Schedule.
NIST intends to conduct a Site Visit for this requirement on 8/13/2026 at 10AM. Please see instructions in the combined synopsis/solicitation. Those planning on attending must notify NIST of your intention and provide the information detailed in the attached synopsis/solicitation by no later than Wednesday, 8/12/2026.
The contractor shall provide all materials and labor necessary to complete repairs, maintenance, renovations, and alterations to existing granite pavers at the NIST Building 101 Main Entrance and Side Entrance, and additional repairs to granite paver systems located at the NIST Gaithersburg Campus. The work includes restoring settled paver systems, deteriorated mortar beds, and cracked individual pavers that create trip hazards.
