Barataria Bay Waterway, Maintenance Dredging (Non-Continuous) Bayou Rigaud, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana (ED-25-008)
The work consists of removal of all material excavated from the limits of Bayou Rigaud Channel, and satisfactory disposal thereof within the Government furnished disposal area shown and associated retention dike work as specified herein and shown on the Contract Drawings. (The estimated time of completion is 100 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will include 13 drawings and specifications).
The magnitude of construction range for this dredge project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
BID OPENING WILL BE SCHEDULED BY AMENDMENT
The Contractor shall remove all material excavated from the limits of dredging in Bayou Rigaud Channel and dispose of it satisfactorily within the Government-furnished disposal area. Associated retention dike work shall be constructed and maintained as specified in the contract drawings and specifications. The work includes mobilization and demobilization of all plant and equipment, dredging of an estimated 300,000 cubic yards, and dike construction/maintenance. Optional work may include bird nesting prevention and avoidance measures for up to 30 days. The contractor must perform work in accordance with EM 385-1-1 (Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual, dated 15 March 2024) and maintain strict compliance with all applicable Federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations. Performance shall proceed for an estimated 100 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
