The contractor shall provide all management, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform comprehensive airfield vehicle gates maintenance and repair services on Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Langley Air Force Base (LAFB), Virginia (VA) in a manner that shall ensure continuous and reliable service.
Questions are due no later than 31 July 2026 at 1400, and responses will be provided by 1400 on 04 August 2026. Only one set of questions will be recorded and responded to per contractor so please ensure that your latest submission combines all of your previous questions (if *applicable).
The contractor shall perform quarterly preventative inspection and maintenance on eight slide gates (gates 1, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 18, and 19), including inspecting hinges, rollers, tracks, electrical connections, and safety devices; lubricating components; and verifying gate operation. The contractor shall also perform initial maintenance and repairs to bring all eight gates to a fully operational state, including installing chain guard kits, control boards, power supply boards, manual releases, rollers, and batteries as specified. Emergency repairs require assessment within 24 hours and initiation of repairs within 72 hours. The contractor must submit a detailed report within 5 business days of each service occurrence.
