The Contractor shall provide all material, equipment, and labor to remove existing shingles and replace with a metal roof (with appurtenances) and seamless rain gutters. Work includes installing a steel roof as described in Section VIII, including building paper, insulation, drip edge, and seamless gutters and downspouts. The new metal roof shall be a Commercial grade standing seam steel roof system of 24 gauge complying with ASTM E 1514, installed over 30 lb. building paper, with ice and water shield underlayment, insulation with minimum R-Value of 20, drip edge, flashing, sealants, ridge vent, downspouts and gutters per SMACNA standards, and self tapping stainless steel screws.
