RFQ 471924 DUNE VD Warm Bias SHV Cables

The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, materials and supplies to fabricate and conduct Quality Control (QC) on four sets of SHV cable assemblies (170 of 14m, 120 of 18m, 180 of 26m, 140 of 30m) plus 10 crimp type 5kV SHV plug connectors and 20 crimp ferrules, in accordance with the technical drawings and specifications. The cable must have UL 3871 certification, each assembly must have two crimp type 5kV SHV straight plugs at both ends, and must pass Hi-Pot tests of 10kV-DC. Additional performance requirements include no high voltage breakdown at 10kVdc for 1 minute, leakage current <0.5nA@10kV per meter, conductivity <50 mOhm per meter, and connector tensile strength >25N. The contractor shall perform Pull and Break tests on a minimum of 2 randomly selected cables from each part number and document the break load. A QC certification must accompany the shipment. All goods must be delivered within 6 months after receipt of order.
