Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking quotes for the rental of Forklifts in accordance with the Statement of Work and compliance checklists (see attachment 2).
The place of performance will be: Naval Base New London (NLON) in Groton, CT.
Interested vendors shall complete the Request for Quote (RFQ) and compliance checklists and return via email to william.v.leduciii.civ@us.navy.mil. Please include any technical specifications to support as well as past experience/performance with submission.

The contractor shall provide rental and maintenance of one 5.5K#-8K# counterbalanced diesel forklift and one 14K#-17K# counterbalanced diesel forklift for a 4-week base period with optional 4-week extensions. The contractor must provide unlimited usage hours, on-site repair within 4 hours of notification, and replacement within 48 hours if the unit cannot be repaired. The contractor is responsible for shipping, loading/unloading, all preventative maintenance and repairs (except those arising from government abuse/negligence), and disposal of fluids/hazardous materials. The contractor must also provide a Contractor's Personnel Roster (CDRL A001 and B001) and comply with all applicable safety, security, and environmental requirements.
