Beneficiary Locator and Outreach Services

The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to perform beneficiary locator and outreach services, including electronic address searches, death determinations, claims outreach, in-depth expert/genealogy searches for alternate beneficiaries, and monthly reporting on updated information and results. The contractor will receive case referrals from VA INS, conduct research using public records and commercial databases, perform outreach to beneficiaries via mail (printed and mailed by VA's fulfillment vendor), and report results. The contractor must also establish a PO Box for returned mail, process returns, and re-attempt outreach. Payment is per-case for successful locates, death confirmations, or completed outreach, with additional payment for valid claim form submissions.
