Hazardous Waste Disposal
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and supplies to accomplish the removal of hazardous waste listed in Part 4 Task 1 and Optional Task 2. Task 1 includes consolidating and packaging radioactive and munition waste for shipment, developing waste profiles, transporting waste to a Waste Control Specialist (WCS) or Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF), and treatment and disposal of waste. Optional Task 2 covers similar work for additional waste streams. The contractor must stage the removal, provide checklists, and ensure waste is packed and disposed of according to EPA, DOT, and NRC regulations. Deliverables include waste characterization and inventory reports, certificates of disposal/destruction, shipping manifests, and chain-of-custody documentation.
