Fy 2026 Spro Archaeological Surveys

The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, transportation, equipment, specialized personnel, and material to complete intensive cultural resource surveys and reports. The survey will include pedestrian survey transects and shovel test transects on 100 percent of affected BIA managed tracts, with shovel tests required to a depth of 60 cm along preplanned transects spaced no farther apart than 30 meters. The contractor must document sites, structures, and objects, provide recommendations of eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places, and prepare reports meeting Secretary of the Interior's standards. Reporting will be broken down by parcel, with separate reports for each line item. Deliverables include unbound color copies of draft reports, site records, encrypted USB storage devices with photographs, topographic maps, and shapefiles.
