Statement of Requirement
The Pike-San Isabel NF/Cimarron & Comanche NG (PSICC) is in need of Procuring Two (2) NEW (2026-2027) WCF fleet gooseneck 3-Horse Slant Load Stock Trailers to be used by Forest Service personnel to transport riding and pack animals to various and remote work sites in the National Forests. Travel conditions will vary from high-speed highways to poorly graded road surfaces.
Provide two new 2026-2027 gooseneck 3-horse slant-load stock trailers, FOB destination, serviced and ready to use with tires inflated, lug bolts torqued, axle bearings packed, lights operational and electric brake battery and break-away system installed. Trailers must meet detailed minimum specifications for metal construction, gooseneck hitch, tandem axles, GVWR, suspension, brakes, dimensions, tack room, doors, wheels and tires, spare, manuals and warranty, and be delivered to Pueblo, CO with owner's manual, warranty registration, certificate of origin and manufacturer's certification.
