The mission of ESI Directorate is to provide support for rapidly integrating and maturing ESI technologies onto ground and air platforms and for rapid prototyping to define, ideate, and test, to “learn by doing” and enable Solider-centric System Design. ESI explores how to manage and securely transmit trustworthy data as it transverses the Army’s network. This BAA invites industry to submit innovative proposals that address the technical portfolio areas of the ESI Directorate: Systems Integration (SI), C5I Engineering and Readiness Engineering.
The ESI Directorate seeks proposals for rapidly integrating and maturing ESI technologies onto ground and air platforms, rapid prototyping to define, ideate, and test, and to enable Soldier-centric System Design. The work includes managing and securely transmitting trustworthy data across the Army's network. The technical portfolio areas are Systems Integration (SI), C5I Engineering, and Readiness Engineering. The BAA covers research and development activities including Basic Research (6.1), Applied Research (6.2), Advanced Technology Development (6.3), and Advanced Component Development and Prototypes (6.4).
