The 60th Logistics Readiness Squadron has a requirement for a complete design-build replacement of the legacy car wash system within Facility 129 at Travis Air Force Base (AFB). The Contractor will decommission and remove the existing system, and then engineer, furnish, install, and test the new Ground Transportation Car Wash to meet industry and OEM specifications. This scope includes constructing all supporting infrastructure, such as necessary power and utility connections. In accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Prior to installation, the Contractor must submit a design proposal featuring a detailed PDF floor plan drawing that maps the facility layout and utility connection points. Following successful system testing, the Contractor will conduct hands-on operational training for Ground Transportation personnel.

Notice to Offeror(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds become available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse any offeror for any costs
The contractor will remove the existing car wash and provide a design/build proposal for the new Ground Transportation Car Wash in facility 129. The contractor shall engineer, furnish, install, and test newly installed equipment to industry and/or OEM specifications. The contractor shall install, replace, and remove the car wash in facilities 129 on Travis AFB. The contractor will construct, provide, and install all support infrastructures including power/electrical outlets necessary to the successful installation and operation of the car wash. The contractor's design proposal shall contain a PDF drawing showing the building floor plan with car wash infrastructure. Upon completion of project, the contractor shall provide training to Ground Transportation personnel. Specific items to be provided include: one arm/disarm push button station, one free standing acid chemical application arch, one entrance traffic light, one set of entrance slip plates, one bolt-on fixed nozzle front blaster pipe arch, one free standing vertical final rinse arch, one set of guide rails (approx. 80' long), one 60HP pump station, one pre-wired NEMA 4X wash control center, one pneumatic control panel, one set of tanks, one free standing alkaline chemical application arch, one high pressure arch module with fifteen spinner mounts, three photo eye kits (single), one photo eye kit (double), one 300 GPM reclaim system, one duplex automatic water softener, one natural gas hot water heater, one air compressor for valve control, and one above ground OWS.
