Axial Adjuster Plates

The scope of work comprises the fabrication, assembly, and inspection/testing work for the HBEND Axial Adjuster Plate Assemblies, including permanent magnet manufacturing and testing, manufacturing of aluminum components, and assembly (including bonding epoxy) and inspection of the final units. The primary manufacturing of the permanent magnets (pressing, sintering, machining, grinding, magnetizing) cannot be subcontracted. The measurements required on the permanent magnets cannot be subcontracted. Fabrication of permanent magnets with grain boundary diffusion processes is required. The final assembly (bonding) of the permanent magnets cannot be subcontracted. Deliverables include one 1st Article set (4 items) due 01/22/2027 and seven Production sets (28 items) due 03/23/2027.
