The objective of this requirement is to obtain a qualified Contractor to provide a two-day, in-person, instructor-led training course on Device Development for Scientists. The Government is finalizing the training dates, which will be stated in the revised RFQ and PWS.
The training shall provide participants with an understanding of the scientific, clinical, regulatory, intellectual property, and commercial considerations involved in medical device development and bringing medical devices to market.
Provide qualified instructors and all course materials for a two-day in-person course for up to 30 participants at the Constitution Center in Washington, DC, addressing medical device discovery and development, clinical development including IDE studies, regulatory pathways including classification, 510(k), De Novo, PMA, Breakthrough Devices and STeP, labeling, CMS-FDA joint review, commercialization and intellectual property including patents and reimbursement, and post-market considerations including recalls, with final electronic materials delivered before training.
