ORIGINAL POSTING 07/26/2026: See attached solicitation/Request for quote for the FDA's requirement for Allentown Caging Company Individual Ventilated Cage (IVC) rack service/repairs for 50 existing supporting caging equipment supply and exhaust blower motor units with advanced technological features. This was a small business set-aside that received no responses.
The contractor shall provide one-time comprehensive diagnostics, OEM parts, mechanical repairs, and airflow balancing services for 50 existing Allentown NexGen Ecoflo blower supply and exhaust motors. Work includes supply blower units (microprocessor-controlled airflow filtration supply assemblies), exhaust blower units (integrated containment and negative pressure exhaust motor subassemblies), and control interfaces (advanced electronic control panels with specialized airflow algorithms). All replacement components must be OEM factory-original from Allentown Caging Company. The contractor must possess proprietary factory software or certified diagnostic interfaces to reprogram and calibrate the electronic control panels. After repairs, the contractor shall perform comprehensive airflow visualization or digital air volume measurements and balance the units to achieve precise positive or negative cage pressure differentials. All work must be performed by technicians formally trained and certified on Allentown NexGen Ecoflo motors. The contractor shall provide a field service report after completion.
