After review of the project specific documents, if you are a Tinker AFB – MAC BOA Holder, please send an email to the Contracting Points of Contact as an RSVP stating you are interested in attending the Initial Site Visit. Your RSVP email must be received within 2 calendar days from the posting of this project. In your RSVP, please let us know if all personnel that will be attending the Initial Site Visit have base access. If anyone requires base access, you must forward with your RSVP the Entry Access List (EAL) so that we can know how many personnel require base access. ****** ONLY MAC BOA Prime Contractors are to RSVP, Subcontractors are to inform at least one Prime Contractor of their intention to attend and if a Subcontractor requires base access, they must be sponsored by a Prime Contractor.*
After receipt of your RSVP and EAL if required, Initial Site Visit is set for Thursday, 06 August at 0900 AM CST B824.
You must attend the Initial Site Visit for the project to be considered eligible to propose.

The work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control and incidentals required to accomplish the replacement of the ridge cap on B824 hangar roof at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma. Specific tasks include: removing the existing fall protection system and saving it for re-installation; removing the existing 200 L.F metal ridge cap without damaging underlying roof panels; removing and disposing of all old fasteners, sealant, and ridge cap material; supplying and installing new metal ridge cap matching existing panel profile and finish; aligning and fastening ridge cap using appropriate fasteners; properly sealing both ends of ridge to prevent water intrusion; replacing any damaged roof panels near the ridge (if needed); re-installing the fall protection system; demolishing the damaged 2/0 aluminum stranded bare lightning protection conductor running north to south next to the ridge cap; and providing and installing 2/0 aluminum stranded bare lightning protection conductor running north to south next to the ridge cap, with all new conductors bonded to each other.
