The AMR program advances transformative innovations by funding testing and field evaluations, pilot demonstration projects, and documentation and dissemination of performance results to move innovations into the marketplace. The program seeks to identify innovations and technologies from the transportation community and propel their advancement by having interested transportation organizations evaluate the innovations through field experiments or tests to increase understanding of their potential benefits and objectively document the findings.
