NPS Tram Cars (2x) and Trailing Units (2x)

The supplier must furnish two (2) open-air tram power cars and two (2) trailing units that are legal for use on public roads in Colorado. The trams must be capable of operating in configurations carrying 20, 48, or 76 passengers. The power car must be based on a MY2026 or newer Ford E-450 SRW cutaway chassis (or equal) with specific engine, transmission, and suspension requirements. The trailing units must have four-wheel steering, air ride suspension, and air-over-hydraulic drum brakes. The supplier must provide ADA-compliant wheelchair securement, a GPS-enabled audio playback system, a public address system, rain curtains, and a full vinyl wrap with NPS-provided graphics. The supplier must perform a water spray test, provide one day of operator training for six government personnel at Dinosaur National Monument, and provide warranties including 3 years/36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper on the chassis and 1 year/12,000 miles on all other power car components. The supplier must also submit preliminary drawings, a Technical Exceptions Worksheet, and a Brand Name or Equal Worksheet as part of the quote.
