Moving Services

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, and be prepared to furnish any necessary materials, equipment, and transportation to perform moving services for NSWCCD. Work includes disassembly, assembly, repairs, and inventory tracking of modular systems furniture from manufacturers JSI, AllSteel, Steelcase, and Gunlock; movement of general office furniture, furnishings, and equipment including filing safes up to 5,000 lbs; and movement of laboratory and testing equipment up to 5,000 lbs. Services are categorized as small, medium, and large moves, with specific requirements for each category, including up to 13 medium moves per year at the Olney site and 12 large moves to detachments. The contractor must also provide weekly progress reports, a safety plan, and monthly warehouse inventory updates.
