This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) is seeking sources to fulfill requirement for enclosed transport carts brand name or equal IAW RFQ 36C26226Q1210.

The contractor must provide 10 units of an enclosed transport cart, 24 tray, stainless steel, with centerwall (manufacturer part number 99312) and 10 units of a CR3C24302010 CRIII-Mini Cart, 24 Meal, Flat Tray, Tow Hitch, Travel Latch (3.1" TS) w/AutoTherm (manufacturer part number 15033). The carts must meet salient characteristics including being fully enclosed, having a minimum capacity of 24 trays with approximately 3.5 inch tray spacing, all stainless steel cabinet and tray slides, a fixed centerwall, four non-marking casters, non-marking corner bumpers, doors that open to approximately 270 degrees, removable tray slides, NSF listing, and at least a one-year parts and one-year labor warranty. The contractor must be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller and provide an authorization letter from the OEM.
