Tower Inspection & Maintenance- Tobyhanna Army Depot

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform tower inspection and maintenance. Specific tasks include: for the LMR Tower, furnish and install RF radiation warning signs, apply elastomeric coating, cold galvanize climbing pegs, and install a down conductor; for Building 32 Platform, replace structural bolts, install warning signs, apply elastomeric coating, and install new grounding; for Building 31 Platform, apply elastomeric coating; for the 100 Ft Tower Track Tower, install turnbuckle safeties, new thimbles, warning signs, yellow guy wire markers, apply elastomeric coating, slip guy wires and replace preforms; for the 330 Ft Tower, install safety wire on shackles, warning signs, cathodic protection, cold galvanize turnbuckles, install cotter pins, apply elastomeric coating, cold galvanize antenna hardware, install coax hangers, guy wire grounding, anchor head grounding, anchor shaft grounding, perimeter fence grounding, and remove unused antennas, coax, and mounts. The contractor shall also perform annual climbing safety inspections on all towers/structures and provide on-call repairs within 72 hours.
