1.0 NAVSUP FLCY MSRA/ABR AGREEMENT
The Offeror shall certify that they currently hold an active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR Agreement in the Japan Region. Offerors who do not possess a current NAVSUP FLCY MSRA/ABR Agreement shall submit a copy of their approved and active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR Agreement as a Prime Contractor as part of the proposal package.
This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan, as prescribed by DFARS 252.225-7042. Contractors located outside Japan must submit documentation that unambiguously demonstrates the Offeror's compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 as a part of their proposal.
Note: Firms who do not possess an MSRA/ABR are ineligible for award unless adequate time exists to permit the Navy to perform an assessment of their MSRA/ABR application and to execute the applicable MSRA/ABR without impacting the vessel's availability dates. Non MARAV holders may request an application for an MSRA or an ABR by requesting an application package from: flcy_msra_abr_group@us.navy.mil.
The work involves replacing sound powered telephone system components at specified locations on the ship, including weather decks, passages, a chapel/training room, an A/C machinery room, an enclosed operating station, a VCHT room, and auxiliary machinery rooms. The components include jack boxes (part numbers G-1SA and G-1SB), handsets and holders (part numbers Z-33A and H-203/U), a terminal box (symbol number 435.1), and various electrical cables (types LSTTSU-1-1/2, LSTTSU-3, LSTTSU-5, LSTTSU-15, LSTTSU-20, LSTTSU-30) with approximate total lengths totaling over 5,000 feet, each connected between specific locations as detailed in the job specification.
