This is an Intent to Sole Source for one UV TEE Probe Sterilizing Unit for the Philadelphia VAMC. See attachments for full details. All responses are due August 19th at 12:00 PM EST.
The contractor must provide one UVsmart D60 ultraviolet probe cleaner for high-level disinfection of external surfaces of TEE probes, including a printer or printing capabilities, a minimum one-year warranty, installation services by OEM staff, and training. The unit must be chemical-free, use UV-C light, have a disinfection cycle of 120 seconds or less, include an instrument holder for at least one TEE probe, be composed of at least 8 UV-C lamps with UV protection covers, include a touch screen, RFID reader, barcode scanner, and audible and visual alarms, and meet specified external dimensions (max 34x19x80 inches) and utility requirements (standard 110/120 VAC, no other utilities). The device must function without connection to the VA network and results must be printable for upload to Censitrac.
