The U.S. Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Global Acquisitions, Acquisitions Management (GA/AM), on behalf of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), Office of Facility Management (OBO/CFSM/FMS), anticipates awarding one (1) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to a qualified environmental engineering firm (prime or joint venture) of licensed professionals to provide comprehensive environmental engineering services at U.S. diplomatic facilities worldwide.

The contractor shall provide professional environmental engineering services including, but not limited to: conducting asbestos inspection surveys and sampling in accordance with EPA AHERA standards; producing Post Asbestos Management Plans; performing Asbestos Industrial Hygiene oversight; conducting lead inspection surveys; performing toxic and hazardous material assessments; performing air quality analyses for contaminants such as radon, mold, and heavy metals; analyzing water from HVAC and domestic water treatment systems; performing Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs); conducting ground and soil contamination analysis and remediation; performing radon investigation, mitigation, and remediation; conducting Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) investigations; performing mold investigations and remediation; and providing EPA AHERA Asbestos Inspector training and certifications for DOS personnel. Services will be provided on a worldwide basis at various U.S. diplomatic posts as directed through individual task orders.
