The contractor must remove, relocate, and install fire suppression sprinkler heads to accommodate the new Dental floorplan for 14 additional dental chairs. Work includes using flex line instead of pipe, adding and relocating sprinkler heads per wall and ceiling layout on RCP Drawings, engineering and installing a wet fire sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13 and Local Fire Marshal requirements, sealing only fire-rated walls to match fire ratings, using domestic materials, and complying with VA Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) requirements including barriers, dust control, negative air machines with HEPA filtration, daily cleaning, and terminal cleaning. The contractor must provide a site-specific safety plan, all transportation, tools, supervision, consumables, and cleanup materials, and coordinate shutdowns with the COR five days ahead. Work hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. All debris must be removed from VA property daily.
