The contractor must provide all facilities, labor, materials, and services for drydock repairs to NOAA Ship Oregon II. The work is divided into 22 specification items including: temporary services (electric power, compressed air, cooling water, sanitary water, high-speed internet, telephone lines, potable water, shore sewage line, parking, dockside office, security, bilge cleaning, crane service); drydocking and routine drydock work (alignment checks, blocking, hull washing, rudder clearance, propeller cleaning, zinc anode renewals, CPP servicing, tail shaft stern tube seal renewals, bow thruster overhaul); hull valve inspection and overhaul of approximately 100+ valves; ABS load line survey including tank inspections and ultrasonic thickness gauging; ground tackle inspection and preservation of anchors and chains; complete underwater hull paint system; coating system renewals for freeboard, superstructure, masts, bilges, tanks, and lockers; annual lifesaving appliances survey; annual fire inspection; annual lifting equipment load test; Miranda davit 5-year service and FRB maintenance; electronic systems groom and inspections; equipment overhauls (anchor windlass, fire pumps, aft crane); electrical repairs and maintenance (generator inspection, switchboard cleaning, passageway red lighting, cableway inspection); piping repairs and modifications (fore peak tank vent pipe renewal, wet lab drain cleaning, forward fire pump suction piping modification); structural renewals and repairs (main mast ladder rungs, bulwark railing, 01 level detacouple and deck repairs, wetlab refurbishment, king post platform modifications, aft crane boom rest, handrail repairs, foc'sle breakwater repairs); miscellaneous repairs (bridge and galley windows, gauge calibration, boiler inspection, hose renewals, reduction gear inspection); ventilation renewals (engine room supply fan, exhaust fan bellows, chem lab exhaust fan); insulation repairs (reefer and freezer refrigerant lines, AC coil and supply ducts, miscellaneous insulation); engine overhauls and maintenance (overhaul of one Perkins engine and generator, replacement of turbocharger cartridges and injectors on Caterpillar engines); MSD tank renewal and space repairs; and engine room bilge and seachest inspection and repairs. Option items include ADCP install, breathing air compressor install, and post industrial period berthing. The contractor must also provide for up to 6000 man-hours of emergent additional work.
