The purpose of this amendment is to update the solicitation number from 140P2025R0093 to 140P2026R0101. The solicitation for GRCA 257282 – Replace Wastewater Plant at South Rim Village will be posted under the number 140P2026R0101.
Located on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in the South Rim Village this project involves the construction of a new 0.65 MGD Membrane Bio-Reactor wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant site, including new treatment facilities (utility connections, site power, electrical, instrumentation and control), administrative and support buildings, utilities, and process systems. Work includes site preparation, relocation of existing storage, installation of process facilities, and complete demolition and removal of existing WWTP infrastructure. The existing plant will remain in permitted operation by NPS staff until the new plant has been accepted by the Government. The scope also includes site improvements such as grading, paving, fencing, as well as a 12-month operational support period. Additionally, the project includes improvements and extension of the access road to the facility.
